My name is SQUARExBEAR, aka Matt, aka Your Favorite Top Shotter's Favorite Top Shotter! I am a passionate Top Shot enthusiast and Co-Captain of the Top Shot Kingdom Fandom Community (Sacramento Kings). As one of the first users to join the platform in the summer of 2020, I have seen Top Shot grow from a small community of dedicated fans to a thriving marketplace that has captured the attention of basketball fans and crypto investors' attention.

As a Content Creator and Graphic Designer, I have been able to combine my love of basketball and design to create unique and engaging content that celebrates the best moments in NBA history. From highlight streams on Twitch and Playback to social media posts, I am always looking for new ways to showcase the excitement and energy of TopShot.

When I first began my Top Shot journey, I received a targeted Instagram ad in early 2018. It was mysterious and intriguing, asking: "Do you want to be one of the first to collect digital NBA collectibles on the blockchain?" It was the perfect intersection of my interests, but I wouldn't realize the potential of the whole product until I had my hands on it. The first two Dapper employees at the time that welcomed me into the Top Shot Discord during the summer of 2020 were Caty and Usman. The next day, one of the highlights of my Top Shot journey occurred when I was lucky enough to purchase ten packs of the rare Throwdowns Drop 1 pack. It was my first major purchase on the platform, and I was excited to see what I would get. As it turned out, I hit the jackpot: I pulled 5 LeBron James Throwdowns out of the ten packs. It was an incredible feeling and further solidified my love for Top Shot. It goes without saying, but I was hooked.

As I continued to explore the world of Top Shot, I started to get involved in the community. I was a Twitch mod for Top Shot, I spoke a lot in the chat channels in discord, and In April of 2022, I helped to create the discord for Top Shot Kingdom, a community of like-minded collectors and enthusiasts who are passionate about the Sacramento Kings and TopShot. We started to host events, meetups, and digital giveaways, all with the goal of bringing people together and celebrating these Top Shot moments. Eventually, Dapper introduced the Captain's Program, a volunteer program designed to bring together fans and collectors from different teams and fandoms. I was honored when Chewiewoolf, the creator of Top Shot Kingdom, asked me to be his co-captain for the Sacramento Kings community. Together, we have been working to create a welcoming and inclusive community that celebrates everything that makes Top Shot so special.

Reflecting on my journey with Top Shot, I am grateful for all the incredible experiences and connections this platform has brought into my life. From my first lucky pull to my role as co-captain of Top Shot Kingdom, I am constantly amazed by the power and potential of NFTs to create unique and engaging experiences for fans and collectors worldwide. From Top Shot Kingdom's first game together, gathering collectors like Steady, PPE, and many other original Top Shot Kingdom members, to bowling with Matthew Dellavedova and the Kings at the Kingpin Classic in 2022, all the way up to the present, where the Sacramento Kings may finally break their playoff drought, I can't wait to see what the future holds for this amazing community!
